Self-taught chef/proprietors Lesley Crosfield and Colin Craig are now entering their 26th year at the Albannach.
The hotel’s five rooms and luxurious suites are largely the result of winters spent renovating with respect for the charm and integrity of this old highland house.
Improvements to the hotel include the Byre suite, boasting its own private terrace complete with hot tub and stunning mountain views.
The Albannach restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2009, which was successfully retained in every subsequent year, until the last dinner was served in November 2017.
In 2014 Lesley and Colin took over The Caberfeidh Restaurant and Bar in Lochinver, located in the heart of the village where the River Inver meets the sea.
The couple have now moved their cooking effort to The Caberfeidh to develop it as a food destination - an informal, relaxed and casual version of Albannach dining.
They will continue to run the Albannach on a Bed & Breakfast basis, with dinner taken at the Caberfeidh.
